New MMWR Highlights HIV Testing Outcomes among Blacks/African Americans in EHE Jurisdictions

A new CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) found that in 2017, Blacks/African Americans accounted for over 40% of those tested and new diagnoses in jurisdictions prioritized by the Ending the HIV Epidemic Initiative, which focuses on areas disproportionately affected by HIV. The report outlines testing, linkage to care, and partner services data from over 200 health departments and community-based organizations.
