NFID Measles Awareness Campaign

Oct 17, 2019 | Kimberly Sharpe-Scott

To help raise awareness about the risks associated with measles and the importance of prevention through vaccination, the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) recently launched a new campaign featuring an online toolkit.

The animated public service announcement videos and infographics emphasize that measles is highly contagious, potentially deadly, and easy to prevent with a vaccine that is safe and effective. The toolkit also includes sample language for newsletters/ websites. The campaign urges at-risk individuals to #GetVaccinated to #PreventMeasles.

Please spread the word about the importance of preventing measles by sharing these complimentary resources widely with all stakeholders. Be sure to follow NFID on Twitter and Facebook and share measles-related posts on your own social media channels.
