The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) on August 13, 2019. NOFO HRSA-20-078: Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America — Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A and B focus resources within the phase 1 jurisdictions outlined in the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative to implement effective and innovative strategies, interventions, approaches, and services to reduce new HIV infections in the United States. Completed applications must be submitted by October 15, 2019.
This funding opportunity is awarded to current RWHAP Part A funded jurisdictions whose service area includes one or more of the Ending the HIV Epidemic Phase 1 jurisdictions or RWHAP Part B funded states identified as having a substantial rural HIV burden (Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and South Carolina) or lastly, RWHAP Part B Program of the State of Ohio on behalf of Hamilton County. HRSA will fund recipients to broaden their approach to addressing HIV in their communities by being innovative and creative as they design strategies to end the HIV epidemic in their jurisdictions.
