CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) has developed videos to aid in diagnosing measles. These videos describe clinical features of measles, how to diagnose it in a patient, and what to do if a provider suspects they have a case.
CDC’s vaccination recommendations and guidance have not changed. Providers should continue to implement recommendations published in the 2013 MMWR on ACIP’s MMR recommendations, however these videos serve as a clinical reminder about a disease providers may not have seen in practice, but should be aware of.
The three videos can be found on the CDC Measles Multimedia Webpage.
