NACCHO is hosting a Health in All Policies (HiAP) webinar series for local health departments. The goal of the webinar series is to provide an open, informal space for dialogue and peer-to-peer sharing about challenges and best practices.
The webinars take place on the second Wednesday of the month, and each month has a different theme. The seventh webinar, focused on cross-sector collaboration to implement HiAP, took place on Wednesday, June 12. The webinar provided an overview of Boston’s Health Equity in All Policies Taskforce and City of Boston departments efforts to apply racial and health equity lens to city programs and services, with examples from Boston’s sidewalk equity, public works and transportation equity work.
