CDC’s National Prevention Information Network (NPIN) announced the expansion of the GetTested website! The website now includes thousands of organizations that offer HIV, STD, and viral hepatitis testing and/or vaccines. Expanding the list of service providers to include CVS, Wal-Mart, and Kroger in addition to free and low-cost service providers, makes it easy for users to find more testing and vaccine services nearby. Notable features to check out include:
- The ability to only view free or low-cost service providers.
- The ability to filter service providers by distance.
- A new interface displaying the fee structure for all service providers.
- A greatly expanded set of vaccine providers.
NPIN encourages public health organizations, healthcare providers, and other prevention partners to use and promote this updated tool among their patients and communities.
