NACCHO is pleased to host a webinar on Western Wildfires: Keeping Communities from Polluted Air. In 2017, Cal Fire recorded 7,117 wildfires and nearly 506,000 acres burned. This includes the largest wildfire recorded, Thomas, in Ventura & Santa Barbara County, and the most destructive (and 3rd deadliest) wildfire recorded, Tubbs, in Sonoma County.
