Fungal Disease Awareness Week 2018

The second annual Fungal Disease Awareness Week is scheduled for October 1-5, 2018. CDC organized the observance last year to raise awareness among the public and healthcare providers about fungal diseases, which often go undiagnosed. Increased awareness about fungal diseases is one of the most important ways to reduce delays in diagnosis and treatment, leading to better health results and lives saved.
