Webinar: Zika Virus, the Evolving Story: What You Need to Know

April 11, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Over the past year, what we know about the devastating effects of Zika virus on fetuses and infants has evolved at a rapid pace. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization called for states of emergency, and countries responded with the strength of their public health and medical communities. Though not in the news as often, Zika virus continues to infect pregnant women and cause abnormalities in infants worldwide. Expert speakers from the CDC, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Committee on Fetus and Newborn, and the AAP Disaster Preparedness Advisory Council will share the very latest information and recommendations how you can be an advocate for Zika awareness in your practice.

Submit questions ahead of time to DisasterReady@aap.org or live during the Q&A portion of the webinar.
