National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week is rapidly approaching. In preparation for this exciting week, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Healthy Homes Partnership  invite you to join a webinar on: Lead Poisoning Prevention Program Ideas.

The webinar will:

  • Provide an overview of the Healthy Homes Partnership and National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week 2017
  • Highlight the creative outreach and education activities on childhood lead poisoning prevention from the University of Tennessee Extension.

The presenter, Dr. Martha Keel, is a professor in the University of Tennessee Extension Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, and has served Tennessee families for more than 34 years. An Extension Specialist in the area of Environmental Health and Housing, Dr. Keel is recognized as a national leader in the healthy homes movement. Bonnie Hinds is a University of Tennessee environmental health specialist focusing on childhood lead poisoning programs.
