Webinar: Improving Immunization Rates: How to Engage and Effectively Communicate

November 14, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Join the National Learning & Action Network (LAN) on Wednesday, November 14 from 3 to 4:30pm ET for this online session. Hear from leading immunization experts and researchers Dr. Gregory Poland and Ms. Caroline Poland on their research findings that we can use to support patients’ and healthcare workers’ decision-making about immunizations. The Preferred Cognitive Styles and Decision-Making Model recognizes that people use different cognitive styles to make decisions, and if we understand different “thinking” strategies, we can influence how they process and react to information. Actionable tips will be shared to help providers, partners, and QIN-QIOs promote improved immunization rates. This event will also be framed by a patient perspective shared through personal story.

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. This activity is eligible for ACPE, ANCC, AANP, and CDR credit.
