Webinar: Implementing Routine HIV Screening in Clinical Settings

This webinar is intended to increase participants’ understanding of the relevance and importance of routine HIV screening in clinical settings as a high-impact prevention strategy. Presenters will discuss challenges to and strategies for successful implementation of routine HIV testing. Participants will identify areas of need where their organizations may benefit from capacity building assistance (CBA) services. This webinar will cover topics on current testing recommendations, the changing HIV testing landscape, how best to implement HIV testing, challenges for implementation, and the available resources for success.   1. Review CDC’s recommendations and rationales for routine HIV testing in clinical settings
  2. Describe impact of developments in HIV testing, treatment, and prevention on routine HIV testing
  3. Identify promising practices for routine HIV testing
  4. Describe challenges and solutions to implementation of routine HIV testing
  5. Identify training and technical assistance resources to support implementation and improvement of HIV testing programs in clinical settings
