One in six Americans will get sick from food poisoning this year. That’s about 48 million people. Most of them will recover without any lasting effects from their illness. For some, however, the effects can be devastating and even deadly. During this webinar, the Partnership for Food Safety Education will highlight the long-term health effects of foodborne illness. Guest speakers Dr. Barbara Kowalcyk of The Ohio State University and the Center for Foodborne Illness Research & Prevention, and Michael Batz of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, will help you answer consumer questions on why practicing home food safety behaviors is so important to their families.
