“Prevention Works” Webinar: HPV Vaccine: What You Need to Know

March 21 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Human papillomavirus virus (HPV) vaccination is cancer prevention. HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection causing genital warts and HPV-related cancers. While most US adolescents are starting the HPV vaccine series, less than half have finished the HPV vaccine series. Every year that adolescents are not vaccinated is another year they are left unprotected against cancer-causing infections.

As part of the Prevention Works webinar series, join Dr. Melissa Kottke as she analyzes the effectiveness of HPV vaccination among marginalized populations, and the potential of these vaccines to eliminate HPV-associated cancers.

REGISTER for Part 2!

The webinar series will also include:

  • Part 3: The Approach Model: Community and Academia Partnerships to Advance Health Equity – May 16
  • Part 4: How to Adopt an Old Intervention for a New Population – June 20
  • Part 5: Best Practices and Lessons Learned: Assessing Community Health Needs and Assets – September 19
