Preparing for the Health Effects of Drought: A Workshop for Public Health Professionals and Partners

The California Climate Action Team Public Health Workgroup, in collaboration with the California Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Drought Mitigation Center, and National Integrated Drought Information System, is holding a workshop for public health professionals and partners:

The morning session will be an informational and educational session on the health impacts of drought, and drought projections, with a focus on California. The afternoon session will focus on a new CDC resource guide, “Preparing for the Health Effects of Drought: A Resource Guide for Public Health Professionals.”
