MAHC Network May Webinar: Reducing Crypto Risk in Swimming Pools

Join NACCHO and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for the latest bi-monthly Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC) Network webinar on May 24, 2017 at 12:00-1:00 pm ET. This presentation will focus on reducing risk factors related to the Cryptosporidium parasite and cryptosporidiosis (the diarrheal disease it causes) in public recreational water facilities. Also referred to as “Crypto,” this parasite is the leading cause of waterborne illness among humans in the United States. Webinar attendees will hear from Laura Suppes, an expert in recreational water safety and environmental health and MAHC Technical Review Committee Member.
