AAP Pediatric HIV/AIDS Training Course

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Committee on Pediatric AIDS is hosting the Pediatric HIV/AIDS Training Course on May 20-21, 2019 at the AAP Headquarters in Itasca, IL. The course will address all aspects of HIV management in infants, children, adolescents and young persons and present evidence-based data to optimize clinical practice. The course is intended for individuals that are interested in expanding their knowledge in HIV/AIDS care.
At a time of rapid change in the field of HIV, the topics covered aim to both inform and update the experienced practitioner serving HIV-infected and exposed infants, children, and adolescents. At the same time, the course targets pediatric residents and fellows during their training, to serve as a foundation in pediatric and adolescent HIV management, as well as those wishing to embark upon subsequent or concurrent careers in Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Pathology, Adolescent and Adult Medicine, or Epidemiology.
The cost for attendance is $350 for physicians, allied health professionals, and other attendees. The cost for attendance is $150 for medical students, residents, and post-residency training fellows.
