CDC: Estimated HIV Incidence and Prevalence in the United States, 2010–2015

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention released a supplemental HIV surveillance report on “Estimated HIV Incidence and Prevalence in the United States, 2010–2015.”

The annual HIV Surveillance Report provides an overview on the current epidemiology of HIV disease in the United States and dependent areas. Data are analyzed by CDC and then provided by age, race, sex, transmission category, and jurisdiction. Supplemental reports are based on data from CDC’s National HIV Surveillance System and focus on a specific topic.
