NACCHO’s Vector Control team is looking to highlight best practices through our Stories from the Field program.
We are interviewing local health department officials who are willing to share their stories of novel vector control interventions they have implemented in their communities. Through this initiative, we aim to give a voice to the local health departments who are leading the fight against vector-borne diseases, and provide a platform for advocacy, information sharing, and awareness raising.
Candidates will gain material to promote the value of their department and will be featured on our Stories from the Field website. The interview will consist of a written survey with an optional 15-30 minute phone interview to expand on the information provided.
Any candidates interested in applying can submit an application here. Reach out to [email protected] for further questions. Applications are due April 30, 2018.
