The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine recently launched the Environmental Health Matters Initiative (EHMI), a new effort to tackle complex issues in environmental health that require a multidisciplinary or multisector approach.
The EHMI advisory committee and government liaisons are looking for input regarding this effort. Please fill out and submit the committee’s short questionnaire by Wednesday, March 28. This information will prove invaluable in developing strategies for implementing EHMI’s goals.
Also, EHMI is holding its first advisory committee meeting on Wednesday, April 4, and the afternoon information-gathering session will be open to the public. The committee will hear from invited panelists from various sectors, federal agencies, and potential community partners to discuss their organizations’ respective needs in the environmental health space. Please note that this meeting will be in-person only, and space is limited. Learn more and register here.
