New Funding Opportunity Opens for Rural Local Health Departments

NACCHO is currently seeking six local health departments to pilot a technical assistance plan designed to incorporate the social determinants of health into community planning at their health department. Each LHD will be awarded up to $15,000 to contribute towards their community planning efforts. Each site will receive the TA package of resources, planning calls with NACCHO staff, and will be invited to attend an in-person training in Washington, DC. The training will review content provide in the package as well as guide attendees through an action planning process that is appropriate to their current stage of community planning.
