UNCOVER EH, an unprecedented needs assessment and horizon scanning opportunity for environmental health (EH) practitioners, has officially kicked off. This is a collaborative effort between the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Baylor University.
Recently, Baylor disseminated a detailed email about UNCOVER EH, which you may have received. The collaborative has already received a great response, but it is vital to secure feedback from as many EH professionals as possible, especially those currently working in state, tribal, local and territorial public health departments. As such, if you receive an email from Baylor University with a link to the survey, you are strongly encouraged to respond to the survey, which will take 30 minutes or less. Also, if you have not yet received the survey link, please check your spam email or ask your IT person to allow emails from [email protected].
Your voice is important, so thank you in advance for your participation and contribution to this important effort. An initiative of this magnitude will result in unprecedented and comprehensive documentation of the critical functions performed by EH professionals across all levels of government. Given the importance of EH to ensure healthy communities, it is critical to understand the EH workforce and the challenges it faces to provide solutions to these needs.
