DC DOH Launches Sex Positive Campaign for Youth

Nov 07, 2017 | Kim Rodgers

The DC Department of Health, in partnership with DC youth, recently launched the “Sex Is…” campaign to “start a city-wide conversation around sex — the things youth have questions about before, during, and after sex!” The campaign recognizes that young people want to have honest conversations with their friends, partners, and the adults in their lives – and those people want to talk to them too. Understanding that everyone can use some help with starting the dialogue, the campaign invites people to join DC DOH in learning about sex, sharing the information with each other and being who they are.

Check out the campaign to learn more and explore how your local health department can implement something similar.
