NACCHO announces the release of its Compendium of Policy Recommendations for the year 2017. Spotlighted in the compendium are over 125 policy statements on public health issues ranging from chronic disease prevention, immunization, emergency preparedness, and other areas that impact the health of individuals and communities. Local and state policymakers can implement many of the recommendations to promote the health and safety of locales throughout the county. For more information, or to provide input on the Compendium, contact Eli Briggs, NACCHO Senior Director of Government Affairs.
