  • National epidemiological studies (for example, using national health survey data to examine the
link between housing assistance and healthcare utilization).
  • Local intervention studies (for example, the impact of smokefree policies on a multifamily unit
or the evaluation of a health promotion program using public housing as the intervention site).
  • Environmental studies (for example, the impact of lead remediation programs or the overlap of
large multi-unit structures with Superfund sites).
  • The impact and implications of policy (for example, how federally qualified health centers can
collaborate with housing agencies or how public health entities are strategically addressing
    health and housing).
