AIDS United, in partnership with Funders Concerned About AIDS, and with generous support from Gilead Sciences, Ford Foundation, Elton John AIDS Foundation, and ViiV Healthcare, recently announced the opportunity for grant support through the Southern HIV Impact Fund!
The Southern HIV Impact Fund seeks to increase collaborative efforts across the U.S. South to end HIV and reduce health disparities. Funding will focus in three primary areas: prevention; care and support; and policy, advocacy and movement building. In order to maximize efforts and potential impact, this new initiative includes technical assistance and grant support to increase cross-sectional work among traditionally HIV-focused organizations and those with little or no prior HIV experience, but with a history of working to advance social justice and/or civil rights.
The 12-month project period will begin December 1, 2017 and end November 30, 2018. Applicants may apply for funding up to $100,000.
The RFP, including eligibility criteria and allowable use of funds, is available here.
Completed proposals are due no later than 5:00pm ET on September 29.
