The Integrated Food Safety Centers of Excellence is seeking local and state health department staff to join its new work group on Foodborne Illness Complaint Systems.
Work group members will engage in:
- Providing support and guidance to one another on the development, implementation, and evaluation of foodborne illness complaint systems;
- Sharing successes, challenges, and barriers surrounding foodborne illness complaint systems; and
- Contributing to the understanding and model practices of foodborne illness complaint systems.
Representatives from state and local health departments currently developing a complaint system, or facing barriers to a unified complaint system, are strongly encouraged to join. The group will meet on a quarterly-basis by video-conference as needed.
