Guide to Hepatitis C Testing

In recognition of Hepatitis Testing Day, which was May 19, the American Academy of HIV Medicine’s (AAHIVM) Institute for Hepatitis C and the American College of Physicians (ACP) released a new Guide to Hepatitis C Testing. The Guide was designed for primary care providers and includes a summary of the latest testing recommendations, along with diagnostic, billing, and laboratory codes for testing. It also provides resources for referrals to HCV-experienced providers and information on patient interactions, education, conversations and case examples.
