The University of Washington Healthy Aging Rehabilitation Research Training Center has released a fact sheet entitled, “Disability Stigma and Your Patients.” This fact sheet is designed as a guide for health care providers on how to have respectful, stigma-free interactions with their patients. Local health officials are encouraged to share this fact sheet among their clinical staff and community health partners to promote disability inclusion efforts.
