World Tuberculosis Day is March 24. To help public health agencies recognize this important awareness day, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Tuberculosis Elimination (CDC/DTBE) developed the following communication messages and materials:

This downloadable PDF contains information that may be helpful in planning communication activities to inform and educate partners, stakeholders and media about TB-related problems and solutions, and the importance of supporting worldwide TB control efforts. Included are key messages, sample social media posts, and links to additional resources. In addition, be sure to add World TB Day graphics to your website or social media messages; share CDC’s animated infographic on the threat of drug-resistant TB; and find out what CDC is doing to combat drug-resistant TB.
