Bipartisan Group of House and Senate Committee Leaders: “Vaccines Save Lives”

On February 21, 2017, a bipartisan group of Senate and House health committee leaders sent colleagues a letter to highlight the importance of immunizations, saying: “Vaccines save lives.” The letter was signed by Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Greg Walden (R-OR), Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ), Health Subcommittee Chairman Michael Burgess, M.D. (R-TX), Health Subcommittee Ranking Member Gene Green (D-TX), and Senate health committee Chairman Lamar Alexander (R-TN) and Ranking Member Patty Murray (D-WA).
