The Washington State Department of Health is hosting a three-day, in-person training on the FDA Voluntary National Retail Food Regulatory Program Standards (Retail Program Standards) taking place on April 18-20, 2017 in Bremerton, Washington. The FDA Retail Program Standards are designed to help food regulatory programs enhance the services they provide to the public. The Washington State Department of Health is offering this workshop to give participants an overview of the Retail Program Standards criteria and an in-depth understanding of the self-assessment and verification audit process, worksheets, and forms. The intended audience for this training includes program managers or those directly responsible for conducting program self-assessments and preparing for verification audits.
This workshop has a limited number of available participant spots, due to the highly interactive nature of its sessions.
