On December 9, 2016, the Third Coast Center for AIDS Research partnered with the Center for Prevention Implementation Methodology to produce a 90-minute workshop on HIV Implementation Science. Implementation science is the study of methods to promote the integration of research findings and evidence into healthcare policy and practice. This webinar provides an introduction to Implementation Science for researchers, clinicians, policy makers, and community members. The webinar references NACCHO’s data on PrEP and discusses scaling out the prevention method as an example to illustrate principals of Implementation Science, including definitions, frameworks, strategies, measures, and partnerships.
