NACCHO in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is pleased to offer a funding opportunity for Public Water Systems to either replace aging water fluoridation equipment or implement new equipment for the fluoridation of community water. Eligible grantees include:
- State or Local Government Entities;
- Oral Health Coalitions;
- Rural Water Associations;
- State Affiliates of Rural Water Associations;
- State Dental Organizations; and
- Other organizations affiliated with public community water systems.
Selected Public Water Systems will receive funding covering costs of equipment purchase as well as technical assistance related to equipment recommendations, coordination with other entities, and other areas as needed. To be considered, eligible entities must complete the following application by March 1, 2017 at 11:59 pm/et. Applicants are asked to use the recently updated Request For Proposal (RFP) document accessible using the above application link.
