With support from the CDC and FDA, the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) are offering travel funds for environmental health specialists interested in attending the joint PulseNet/OutbreakNet regional meeting for the Central/Midwest region. This in-person event is scheduled to take place on March 7-9, 2017 in Chicago, IL. Registration is required and open now through February 14, 2017.
All staff specializing in environmental health responsible for foodborne illness outbreak investigations at the state, large local, multi-county, or tribal health departments in the Central/Midwest region are eligible to apply for a travel scholarship by January 20, 2017. Selected awardees will be notified by 5:00 pm/et on January 30, 2017.
