The Michigan Public Health Training Center in collaboration with the Genesee County Health Department (Flint, MI) recently hosted a webinar providing new insight on Legionnaires’ disease. Special Pathogens Laboratory owner, Janet E. Stout, PhD, discusses the disease in context of the 2015 ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188-2015 Legionellosis: Risk Management for Building Water Systems.A set of guidelines providing information on how to reduce and prevent the growth of Legionella, targetting those involved in the creation and maintenance of human-occupied facilities, including but not limited to healthcare facilities
