The AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) has prepared a report on the estimated monthly out-of-pocket cost a person can expect to pay for Truvada as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in the state of Illinois. The report identifies various healthcare plans’ coverage of PrEP offered in Illinois’ health insurance marketplace. Premiums are shown as an example for a single adult age 30, while deductibles and maximum out-of-pocket cost limits shown are for a single person. This is not a comprehensive guide to choosing a health care plan. Read the report and for more information, visit healthcare.gov or Greater Than AIDS.
