The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently released the seventh edition of its draft guidance for industry on the FDA Food Facility Registration. Public comments regarding this guidance are being accepted by the FDA through February 6, 2017. Facilities that are required to register with the FDA include those that manufacture/process, pack or hold food for consumption in the United States.
