The National Environmental Health Association NEHA is currently seeking environmental health departments to take part in its third annual National Environmental Public Health Internship Program, which is funded by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Environmental Health Services Branch. Local, state, and tribal environmental health departments are highly encouraged to apply to host one of 20 environmental health student internships during summer 2017.
Selected college students from environmental health programs accredited by the National Environmental Health Science and Protection Accreditation Council (EHAC) will receive a stipend for the 10-week internship and some may be eligible to receive an additional stipend to cover relocation expenses.
