NACCHO’s HIV, STI, & Viral Hepatitis Team is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support deliverables related to NACCHO’s cooperative agreement with the CDC Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention, which aims to build local health department capacity and leadership to prevent HIV infection and improve HIV-related health outcomes in an era of high impact prevention and health systems transformation. Additionally, the Senior Program Analyst will work closely with other members of the HIV, STI, and Viral Hepatitis team to support related programmatic activities, such as the Southern Initiative, which is supported by the Secretary’s Minority AIDS Initiative Fund, and administered by the Health Resources and Services Administration, HIV/AIDS Bureau, Division of Metropolitan HIV/AIDS Programs.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and technical expertise in HIV prevention and care, prior experience working in the area of HIV, and experience or expertise related to governmental public health, public health policy, the provision of technical and capacity building assistance, partnership development, and project management.
