NACCHO is pleased to announce a funding opportunity for local health departments (LHDs). With support from CDC’s Division of STD Prevention, NACCHO will be offering funding and technical assistance to up to five LHDs for a multi-site evaluation of the use of the Rapid Syphilis Test (RST) in nonclinical settings. This project is an exciting opportunity to develop and expand LHD STD prevention and treatment activities in nontraditional settings and among hard-to-reach populations, and to contribute valuable data and perspectives to inform the use of RST by LHD STD programs across the nation.
