The National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) and the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) are sponsoring six full scholarships for interested disease intervention specialists (DIS) to attend the NCSD 2016 Annual Meeting in Phoenix, AZ on December 6^th – 9^th. Scholarships will cover conference registration, lodging, travel, and per diem expenses.

The meeting will prove to be an excellent opportunity for DIS to gain a great deal of knowledge around STD prevention as it relates to sexual health. The agenda will include a DIS Skills Building Workshop as well as a DIS track of at least three sessions pertaining to the work of DIS, including a focus group to discuss a National DIS Society. To apply, complete this brief application by Wednesday, September 28^th. Please note that DIS who received the NCSD/NACCHO scholarship to attend the NCSD 2015 Annual Meeting are not eligible to apply this year.
