Across the country, local health departments (LHDs) often struggle to explain the value of health impact assessment (HIA) to community stakeholders. In an effort to support this effort, NACCHO’s HIA community of practice, comprised of LHD HIA practitioners, created a one-pager. This resource details how HIA is a valuable tool for community health, relationship development, community engagement, sustainability, and economic growth. Download the full one-pager, here.
