Report: Expanded Access to Hepatitis C Drugs for Veterans

Per a recent article in the Journal of the American Medicine Association (JAMA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), aided by new funds from Congress, is extending new antiviral treatments to all veterans with hepatitis C treated within its health care system—regardless of the stage of their illness and whether they contracted these infections during military service.
