The National Coalition of STD Directors’ (NCSD’s) Technical Assistance and Health Equity Program recently collaborated with CAI on their “Promising Practices” series. The latest installment focuses on PrEP Implementation in STD Clinics using three approaches: starter packs, active linkage, and passive referral.
STD clinics are prime sites for PrEP recruitment and implementation for multiple reasons including the access to high-risk persons diagnosed with other STDs, culturally competent staff, and the capability to perform fourth-generation testing. The Promising Practices: PrEP in STD Clinics resource is available here.
