The Gulf Research Program of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is awarding $10 million in an effort to enhancing coastal community resilience. Ideal grant recipients are researchers and community members engaged in both scientific and practical environmental efforts, seeking to identify key factors contributing to the resilience, health and sustainability of Gulf communities. The joint funders are particularly interested in projects exploring human dynamics of resilience.
