NACCHO, in collaboration with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) conducted research and developed a new report to learn more about scoring, grading and placarding systems used by domestic food regulatory programs. This report provides a case study on the retail food establishment process and grading system used by the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD). The case study includes first hand perspectives from representatives of SNHD Environmental Health Division and its Board of Health, who were interviewed directly by NACCHO staff members.
