Advocates for Youth is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for community-based organizations to receive capacity building assistance through their Anti-Homophobia and Transphobia Project. Advocates launched its Anti-Homophobia and Transphobia Project almost 10 years ago, and seeks to build the capacity of organizations interested in and committed to improving the sexual health of all young people, including LGBTQ youth of color.
Advocates for Youth is a national organization that partners with youth leaders, adult allies, and youth-serving organizations to advocate for policies and champion programs that recognize young people’s rights to: honest sexual health information; accessible, confidential, and affordable sexual health services; and the resources and opportunities necessary to create sexual health equity for all youth dedicated to creating programs and advocating for policies that help young people make informed and responsible decisions about their reproductive and sexual health. Advocates provides information, training, and strategic assistance to youth-serving organizations, policy makers, youth activists, and the media in the United States and the developing world.
