The CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention is now accepting nominations for the Jack N. Spencer Award. The award is given “to honor individuals for a career of exceptional contributions to excellence in sexually transmitted disease prevention characterized by outstanding commitment to effective science based programs, continuous innovation, and profound commitment to helping people.”
Initially presented to Mr. Jack N. Spencer in December 1999, this year”s award will be presented at the STD Prevention Conference (September 20-23, 2016) to an individual who best meets the criteria described above.
