In November 2015, NACCHO collaborated with the International Association of Providers in AIDS Care (IAPAC) to support their work to help convene the U.S. Fast Track Cities Initiative and National HIV/AIDS Strategy Consultation meeting. The meeting convened health officials and HIV program managers from local and state health departments, community representatives, healthcare providers, public policy experts, and federal agency representatives to discuss current efforts and new opportunities to fast-track the local HIV response within the context of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy. IAPAC recently released a report summarizing the meeting sessions and outcomes. Read the report to learn more about how NACCHO and others are supporting local health departments’ efforts to achieve the United Nations’ 90-90-90 targets.
